Not breaking any news there. What’s the point of saying it in this thread you got plenty of other threads to bash the program johnsoniu, RaceToTheTop and thebigweave 2 1 Quote
Uspshoosier Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 San Diego St on a run. Only down 1 with 4:37 to go Quote
Uspshoosier Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 Champ week can’t get here soon enough. Some of these conference tourneys are going to be insane. Quote
Uspshoosier Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 Utah st is in first place in the MWC Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 Butler playing themselves out of the tournament. Third straight loss -- none are bad losses (to Marquette, Creighton, and at Villanova) but they are failing to rack up wins. 16-11 now but one of those was a D2 opponent, so 15-11 on team sheet. Last four regular season games are at Seton Hall, St. John's, at DePaul, Xavier. DePaul should be a gimmee -- would think they need two of the other three. Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 Will Missouri win a conference game? Thirteen straight losses now -- all in conference. Hung tough against Tennessee tonight but same result as always. Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 TCU/Texas Tech coming down to the wire -- TCU up 2 with 2:12 left. Uspshoosier 1 Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 22.4 seconds left, Texas Tech 1 point lead and the ball. If Horned Frogs can't get the steal they'll foul and Tech will get a one and one as TCU isn't in the double bonus. Quote
JF87 Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 Tom Izzo has built a very good program at Michigan State and is a coaching great. However, over the last few years I can't help but feel that he's underachieved with very talented rosters. DChoosier and Home Jersey 2 Quote

Their AP pre-season rank was 4th in the country, he had the core of last years team returning plus a good recruiting class (Booker/Fears/Coen) and here they are at 17-10 while losing at home last night vs Iowa. Uspshoosier Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 MWC delivers every night. New Mexico/Colorado St at 10. UNC Greensboro/Western Carolina going to be a good one as well johnsoniu 1 Quote

Holtmann or Mack? Holtmann is an obvious choice, I think he would like a BE job again but he might have run through a lot of his goodwill in Ohio. Mack would be welcomed back with open arms. What's with all the boomerang Big East coaches damn Quote
Unexpectedflash Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 Honestly much happier OSU is getting Sean miller than McDermott. McDermott would’ve had them scary with all their NIL. I can’t say I’ve watched much Xavier this year but they look pretty average. thebigweave 1 Quote

Idk, Sean Miller had a pretty good machine humming at Arizona before everything hit the fan... could definitely see him recreating that in Columbus str8baller 1 Quote

LamarCheeks Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 BTW, that tweet about Sean Miller is from a guy who covers the New England Patriots. It's interesting, no doubt -- but I don't know that I'd put a whole lot of credence into his report. Home Jersey 1 Quote
