This quote right here tells you all you need to know about IU’s struggles as a program.    All-Americans, transfers, 3 years players or freshman a coach saying this in the 24th game of a season is telling.    Fix this and then IU as a program can start to rebuild for the future.   If a coach is saying this next year then IU isn’t ready to take the next step and we will be on here going back and forth on what’s a small improvement or big improvement

That is a brutal quote, but it’s obviously true. It’s no coincidence that the 2 best IU teams in the last 15 years had a senior Yogi Ferrell and a senior Jordan Hulls. This team belongs to no one.

So many good basketball players out there regardless of rank.  Just got to have a staff to identify and develop.

Keve Aluma for Virginia Tech is a stud

Don’t even think he was ranked at 247

Just seems like IU looker is broke . Can't find gold in a pawn shop. Hopefully the future is better. Really could be an interesting off season . You would think woodson is going to hustle up something . If there are any openings

St. Louis had gotten themselves in the conversation for an at large bid.  Then they lose at home to St. Bonaventure last Friday and then Monday at St. Bonaventure.  Not sure that will be enough for St. Bonaventure, though.

Big upset in the American East Hartford just hit a tip back with 5 sec to go in OT to knock off Vermont.  Vermont was undefeated in conference

Vermont have any Indiana kids playing . Had quite the pipeline in the past .

Another interesting excerpt from the Coach K book:

I thought Coach K and RMK were on decent terms again -- after the 1992 Final Four blow-by. But apparently, there have been several incidents since -- the latest being a gathering of former Army players at Pinehurst. Coach K showed up and RMK totally blew him off. "He was finally done with Coach Knight," said K's son-in-law.

In the mid-2010's Coach Knight was in the beginning and rapidly advancing stages of Alzheimer's, and made series of truly cringe-worthy, surly, inappropriate, and at times illogical public appearances. Moreover, at that time his outward appearance and voice was one of relatively good health.

He had all of the piss and vinegar of the earlier version of himself, but none of the (relative) filter and sharpness. Maybe it was partly him acting out on his frustration with his situation. In any event it was a terrible combination.

It's hard to believe that as his health issues advanced he would become so much milder and easier to see and hear. But that seems to be the case.
