This packline isn’t close to being where it normally is.    Duke just isn’t bringing it this game.   Maybe a letdown game after the North Carolina game but this is a horrible e game Duke and K

I was 1/4 watching it while doing several other things. Hard work beats talent when talent refuses to work hard or something like that.

It’s going to be interesting, half the student population thought it was bad move, same with faculty members.

Faculty, in general, tend to not care about athletics as they believe sports get too much money or attention at universities as it is, often at the detriment of other programs.  But the student population thinking it's a bad move should have been more telling, as they likely read it as "we're raising tuition and putting a bigger focus on sports, even though this is all uncertain and may not pan out".

Going up to D-I requires a lot of investments and clearly does not have immediate returns.  Southern Indiana may have had a lot of success in men's basketball, but who's to say they won't be the next IUPUI or Houston Baptist in D-I?  Not to mention... how many damn schools are there in D-I?

If we gave D-II or even D-III schools a fairer media deal and recognition in which their existence is acknowledged beyond "well, what schools can we replace?", then I think there wouldn't be this endless desire by schools to constantly rush up to D-I.  However, it also boils down to conference realignment, as conferences keep taking schools, and the lesser ones need replacements.

It also affects UIndy as it leaves them the only D-II school in the state.

UIndy won't have to worry about it much longer, they'll be bankrupt in 5 years

The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh

If you ever get a chance to watch this (The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh), it has it's moments.

Watched it and probably one of the worst movies ever made.

Wisconsin leads Michigan St 29-23 at the half.

Wisconsin started off with a strong running attack which opened up the passing game towards the end of the half. Michigan St tried to air it out but Wisconsin's defensive line was able to get to the quarterback without the need for blitzing. This allowed the secondary to play tight on the receivers; maybe getting away with a little holding.

Wait, that was basketball?
