Did you hear Hummel and Jason say that during the broadcast.   As they were going to break Hummel said ufc on later and Jason said there is ufc on now as well.  Lol

I did not…I was in the middle of my own UFC/B1G matchup with my kids during most of that game. Benetti and Hummel are top notch.

Salt in wound.   Durham 83% foul shooter.   10/10 today.  Providence up 3 with 10 sec to go

That said, he can't hit a shot from the field.  Shooting 34% from the field and 23% from three for the year.  But he's in the top five in the country in getting to the line and he hits them.

And the Big 1.o front office is loving it!

I wish I could remember the article about college basketball and/or football moving south and to the coasts. It was absolutely spot on..

The Big seems to be operating under the delusion that the NBA is still playing 1990s style basketball.

I seriously don't understand exactly what they think the benefit of producing the games they are producing is.  It's plodding, tackling basketball in a day and age where finesse players are making bank in the NBA.

I don't think it is a coincidence that no big ten recruits ate playing in tbe McDonald's AA game.  The big ten should be embarrassed at the product that we see on the floor in big ten games.  They also should be embarrassed by the quality of the refs on the conference.  It is ugly basketball and top players don't want to play this style of basketball.

I would look to West Laffy, East Lansing, and Madison as the major reasons we have tackle basketball. They're not too concerned about getting NBA talent in West Laffy or Madison and focusing on winning the Big 1.o title. That might explain some of the stupidity.

I was end of the game game hunting on a side TV and came across a great ending.  Dixie St upsets Grand Canyon.  Grand Canyon missed the last shot.  Big upset in the WAC

Sounds like a good spot for a Jalen Blackmon attempt.

There was one Big 10 player taken in the first round of the NBA draft last year.  Franz Wagner....that's it.

"Johnny Juzang quiets the crowd!" - Bill Walton

The crowd was barely above a whisper. He's still the best in the game. I really want a Gus Johnson - Bill Walton duo calling a game.

Johnny Juzang is the best in the game?

USC tried giving that one away.

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

This was USC first win against a projected tournament team that is solidly projected in the field.    They have a win against San Diego St as well but they still could miss be left out.    Huge win for USC.   They needed this one

Juwan  Howard following Michigan's 68-57 loss at O$U.

ON OHIO STATE SHOOTING 12 MORE FREE THROWS THAN MICHIGAN:

"You heard that, guys? That was alarming in a lot of ways and then, when you look at it, we had the most points in the paint. So 36 points in the paint, and we only shot six free throws, and Ohio State attempted 18, when we had the most points in the paint. That was alarming to me, and I was like, ‘Wow, we're attacking the basket. I see there's contact made. I think we earned the right to go to the free-throw line.’

"But unfortunately, I just wanted to make sure that our guys were still continuing to keep playing. But you’re a competitor, you feel the contact and you want it to be called fairly. Our guys were trying to keep their cool and I was just telling them, ‘Just stay locked in, stay within the moment. I'll ask the referee [about] a call, ask for the reason why, and I don't want you guys to get frustrated.’

"So I really commend our young men on just keeping a level head. Unfortunately, their coach didn’t keep a level head because I got a little frustrated toward the end, so I apologized to them for that."
