Holtman may last the longest out of those 3 hired at the same time. MemphisHoosier 1 Quote
NOLA Hoosier Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 Some thoughts here, as I live in Louisville: Their AD just resigned, the fans are turning on Mack, cries of “never should’ve fired Pitino” are loud, and for as much money as the school pours into athletics (because it sure as hell ain’t academics), it’s a friggin’ mess. Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 The breaking up of the Big East continues to hurt multiple programs who left. Crazy thing is, Louisville, Pitt and Syracuse kinda dominated in the ACC when they first joined.... And look where they are now. Middling schools at best. UConn returns to the Big East and have looked way better. Conference realignment without a doubt has hurt college basketball. When these massive conferences are formed, someone has to lose and the bottom is likely to be absolute garbage. Quote

Don't know how much of these are connected, but the AD and president resigned within a day or so of each other. The president did leave to take the same position at Penn State, but still ... Quote
Uspshoosier Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 Georgetown up 2 at home against Syracuse. Teams are exchanging big baskets these last 2 mins. Fun game Quote

Uspshoosier Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 Georgetown wins it. Girard a 90% foul shooter for Cuse misses a FT that would of cut the lead to 1. Aminu hit both to put Georgetown up 4. Quote
Loaded Chicken Sandwich Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 Wisconsin continues to prove that it's Johnny Davis, the dirtiest player in college basketball and some other dudes. Wisconsin is a mediocre team. Embarrassing how we lost to them. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 Might be but it’s also true. Nebraska drilled by Auburn by 30. Auburn has a legit team. Ohio State comfortable over Wisky who isn’t what their number in front of them represents and that will bear out over time. Syracuse beaten by a mediocre Georgetown team. Good game with 2 mediocre teams. I think the evidence indicates what we are as a team this year and many are ignoring the blaring signs. I suppose it doesn’t matter. Fringe tournament team again. If we miss again does it matter? Woody, isn’t a young man. Missing the tournament won’t improve his stock. Will need to strike while the iron is hot. But, we don’t behave like a blue blood anymore and just hope to fall back into it. I’m not holding my breath. And if Woody fails/underperforms, that’s curtains. We better take that NIL seriously if we want to be a Top 10 program. Hint… we don’t but we want the fans to think we do. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app AKHoosier 1 Quote

Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app Wisconsin won Maui and beat a final 4 contender Houston on a neutral court in the process of winning it. Wisky has played 7 Q1 and Q2 games and has 5 wins in those. 5 top 60 wins (3 away from home). It’s bait to say it’s embarrassing to lose to them. The other stuff you pointed out has nothing to do with why I posted that gif so I can’t speak on those in this situation. RaceToTheTop, Stuhoo, HoosierHoopster and 2 others 5 Quote
