They also got a team that has grown together and won a lot of games together. Good programs know how to respond to losing a game they had no business losing earlier in the week

I’ve seen a lot better teams better than this Michigan team get embarrassed at Mackey.   Sometimes it’s not your night and it was never going to be their night with the way Purdue lost the other night

Michigan looks like they’d rather be anywhere but a basketball court tonight.  This is worse than the Illinois game.

Plenty of teams get rolled on the road at tourney quality teams.  Getting boat raced at home to a tourney quality team while being on the bubble where you need it is on its own level of bad

Looks like a bad L.   It happens.  Now if 1 bad L turns 2 then 3 and then 4 then that’s a problem however if I’m a Michigan fan I wouldn’t freak out about a bad game at a place like Mackey

Plus they are playing with house money on the road.  They already have 2 road wins in conference  at teams that are solidly in the tourney.  Before tonight all their losses are in OT or 1 possession games

Water might be finding its mark for a Michigan team that has overachieved up until now. We'll see if May can get them going again in February or if he takes the Miller/Woodson route and loses about five or six in a row.
