If James Madison had played ANY kind of non-conference schedule they might have an argument at 21-3, but it was putrid.  Opened up with that win at Michigan State but then it was a downright putrid schedule after that.  347th non-conference schedule by Pom and might have been last overall if they hadn't played Michigan State.  Outside of MSU, their best win is probably over Southern Illinois on a neutral court, and the Salukis are in the middle of the MVC standings.  James Madison getting swept by Appalachian State is really damaging.

Maybe but when your SOS is in the 300’s and 15 of your 21 wins are against teams in the Q4 group you pretty much can’t have any slip ups and they have.   Not saying it’s right and i  think both teams could win a game but that’s the life for a mid major.

Kansas wins it but they lucked out.   Timberlake helping off a corner shooting when they were up 3 and Baylor missed.   Timberlake misses a FT and Baylor missed another open 3 at the buzzer that would of tied it

It does suck. And I get for those small schools it can get tough to schedule games, especially if they feel you're good enough to beat them. They do have the losses to Southern Miss and App St twice but looking at the bubble, plenty of other teams obviously have multiple Q3/Q4 losses. They just get the privilege of playing in a bigger conference. James Madison and App St would be some bad luck to run into as 13-15 seeds.

Hopefully one of them wins the Sun Belt con fence tourney.    Troy is playing better lately so they could throw a wrench into that plan

When tenn is hitting shots they look unbeatable with the defense they play however this isn’t one of those nights and when they can’t make any shot they look very beatable

Liberty down 6 to Louisiana Tech just drills 2 straight 3s and ties it up with 5:50 to go.   Liberty struggling a bit in conference USA this year after they moved up from the ASUN.  Great atmosphere
