Gillis would start a lot of places. Kaufman-Renn will probably start for them later in his career, and could start some places now. The guards are useful catch-and-shoot guys buuut

Really good first half tonight for Purdue and Smith carried them early.  Painter probably not please with the defense the Boilers put out in the second half.  Given up 51 points in the second half with 20 seconds to go and let Iowa play the pace they wanted to.

Sun Belt co-leaders Louisiana-Lafayette and Southern Miss at half.  Louisiana-Lafayette up 38-33.  Lou-Laff is 20-4, Southern Miss is 21-4.

WKU up 70-64 with 7 min and change left. Big game for the Tops as they are currently 2 games behind MTSU in conference. MTSU with a nice run before stoppage 

Landers has not played in the 2H. Spot minutes in the 1H but story of the year for #4 is fouling and inconsistency in his shot. WKU is a very talented team with high major transfers and the 7’5 Junior (Sharp). This team goes as McKnight goes. He’ll surely be receiving calls from a P5 school after the year is over. Nickname on campus - McBuckets and it holds true tonight as he leads all scorers with 27

Yeah, that’s the game. Makes me nuts. Every time I see standings or brackets or rankings I reflexively recalculate them with a win at Iowa. Ought to be solo 2nd in the conference 2 back of Purdue. If that game costs them a seed line I’m gonna be pi$$ed at the world,

Ohio State down 7 right now to Northwestern.  Loss would drop them to 3-10 in conference.
