Man, I thought we were snakebitten in close games...apparently we hold St. Johns' beer. Up 1 and they foul with 2 seconds left.

St Johns also wastes their last timeout icing the FT shooter instead of trying to get a pass to halfcourt (there was 2.8 sec left) and using the timeout to set up a realistic shot.

Just going to say it now, and hope that in a little over 24 hours it looks silly: OSU teams under Chris Holtmann are soft. They give up big runs and typically don't respond well, they haven't been good in tight games and they blow on defense. I saw they were up 20-7 on Penn State midway through the first half and thought to myself, this will be a close game by the half. 28-23 now.

North Texas/Louisiana St tomorrow in the Conference USA semifinals.   They played a couple good games during the regular season where North Texas won both.   Should be a good one tomorrow.
