What kind of precedent is this setting?

UConn-to-Virginia WBB transfer Mir McLean (5-11 SO wing, Baltimore, MD) has been granted an immediate-eligibility waiver, despite having played in 3 games at UConn earlier this season.

What was the sutuation?

Trade deadline incoming!

I wonder if their profs will communicate to ensure they’re passing classes when they start transferring midway through the semester to play on a different team.

My friend -- a WVU grad -- just told me Huggins was spittin' mad after a loss last night and hinted some players could be movin' on out after the season. Maybe they've got a guard who can help us down the stretch and we can help Huggy start that process early. LOL! ... They've got that McNeil kid who folks here were gushing over, but never received an offer from Archie. Perhaps he's available. With Phin's and Lander's statuses in doubt, we need guards!

Purdue was up 18 and Iowa had it  cut to 4

turned the pressure up and caused some turnovers and Chris Murray is having a good game.   Purdue up 7

Crazy how when they got the ball to center court they were able to break the zone. The very next possession they throw a cross court pass to break the pressure. Why!?

This is my first experience watching Memphis this year.  THey are up 48-38 on East Carolina with 8 minutes left (EC is so-so) and I know Memphis has a lot of guys out with injury....but they are just brutal to watch.  So many turnovers that look like an eighth grade team playing.

This game would look a lot different if Purdue was shooting reasonably well from beyond the arc as opposed to un-freaking-conscious.

13 of 22 from three.....8 of 18 from the line.  Need to move to the back of the circle to shoot free throws.

Yeah, it's bad.  Matches the ugliness of the game.

East Carolina shooting 23% from the field with 6 minutes left.  Memphis 8/18 from the line and 15 turnovers.

There have been 115 shots put up between the two teams.....and there have been 83 rebounds.
