I find myself pulling for Duke and I don’t like it. But… someone’s got to hand Gonzaga their first (and possibly only) L.

Sickening dilemma, because it will also likely hand PureDoo their 1st number 1 ranking.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I’ve seen a sizable gap between Banchero and Holmgren all year. Banchero could go be a legit NBA player tomorrow night.

Banchero is the best player in college.  Probably was the reason K came back for 1 more year

It won't happen, but if Duke wins by a lot, I'd jump them up to #1. But too many media types will want Purdue in the top spot.

Without really following recruiting anymore, I had no idea what CBB was getting with Banchero. I was blown away in the first 2 minutes of the champions classic. He’s really something else.

Exactly where I am.  I can't believe I'm cheering for Dook

I was just thinking that. Could see it the media wants Duke to be #1 for Ks last year and all

Man, I'm glad to see someone say that.  I know Holmgren is 7' tall, has good maybe great ball skills and can shoot from the perimeter, but the media folks talk like he's the greatest draft pick EVER.  Yeah, he's going to get drafted, but he's not going to play much right away.  Not with his body.  JMHO

It wouldn't be their first, right?  I could swear they were #1 before.

Let 'em have it.  It would be awesome to beat them that way

Oh, it would. Their fans are frothing at the mouth over it online.

Move over, moon landing. Purdue basketball might be #1 on November 29th!

Hahaha what a sad pathetic program.  Funny that they laugh at our NCAA championship banners but celebrate a high ranking and a big drum.

I know a lot are pulling for Duke but not me.   Actually fun to see Duke being on the court and getting hosed by some calls.   Personally I guess I don’t care who wins it. This is a high level basketball that is awesome despite who wins.    Someone will get the Zags down the road in the regular season in my opinion.

I think Nembhard actually learned a lot from playing with Suggs last year. He finds all the spaces to get into, attacks with a purpose, great change of speed and direction, strong with the ball, always looking up the floor. He's exactly what I want to see Lander become.
