Stuhoo Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 Bad news for a Wisky team meltdown. AND... Isaiah Livers is hurt...again. They still have waaaaay more talent in the lineup than Nebraska, but as we and others know, when Nebraska is feeling it at home they can create lots of momentum for themselves. If Michigan loses they fall to 11-9 overall and are on serious tournament life-support. Purdue has been better than UM lately, but they are an undeniable underdog in Piscataway. They did most of the damage to themselves before the last few weeks, but if they lose tonight they'd fall to 11-10 overall. Their schedule is very favorable going forward, but 11-10 leaves them almost no room for error. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 The coronavirus has begun to affect the everyday lives of Americans in recent days. The trend continued Tuesday. The Miami (Ohio) Redhawks have reportedly postponed basketball games scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday due to a coronavirus threat. The news was first reported by Stadium’s Jeff Goodman. Miami’s men’s basketball team was scheduled to face Central Michigan at home on Tuesday, while the Redhawks women were to meet Western Michigan on their home court Wednesday. The games are expected to be made up at a later date. Alford Bailey and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

JerryYeagley23 Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 Fully understand that it’s their brand of basketball, and some people love it. Hell, it got them a chip last year. But I’m watching the Virginia/FSU game, first UVA game for me I’m a while. It’s almost painful to watch. 14-11 with 8 minutes to go in the first half. The pace is painful. Quote
LIHoosier Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 Rugers just pulled off a helluva team hustle play Quote
JerryYeagley23 Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 I have trouble figuring out who to root for in this Rutgers/Mich game. I tend to root in games based on how it affects IU. Would it be better for us to have Michigan lose to make our Rutgers win look better and better, or better if Michigan wins and gives us another chance at a Quad 2(?) win upcoming? Quote
NOLA Hoosier Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 Realllllly rooting for FSU and hope they keep rolling. Handing them one of their only two losses is nice. Quote
JerryYeagley23 Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 Danger time for the Boilermakers. Down 16 to Rutgers with 4 to play in the first half. On the verge of getting blown out if they can’t cut into it before the half. Would take them to 11-10 overall, and basically out of the tourney with an outside shot at last four in if they make a miracle run which seems unlikely. Also, Va Tech, who some people are calling the potential 4th team to make the dance out of the ACC, getting stomped at Miami (dead last in the conference) by 17 at the half. ACC is weaaaakkk this year. Quote

LamarCheeks Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 The Tom Creans are taking the Cuonzo Martins to the woodshed -- 20-point lead about midway through the second half. Quote

This is Cuonzo's 3rd year at Mizzou. The longest he's ever spent at any school is 3 years. If the U-Haul's aren't already at the Martin residence, I'd be shocked.
