Watching PU v UM and it's amazing what having a shooter or 3 can do for a team.  I wish we had one.

pu the last few seasons is IU 2011-2013. They'll flame out against a more athletic team. It's Purdue, it's Purdue.

Honestly who has Purdue played recently?  They beat Michigan by a point.  Only beat NW by 5 at home.  We beat them by 20 for reference.   Squeaked by Maryland.  I'm just not sure how good they are.  They also lost to WKY and Tennessee.   I guess we'll see on Sunday and when they go to MSU.

They are 6-2 in the Tier 1 group (most tier 1 wins by any team)

Still doesn't answer my question.  I know they beat AZ but that was a long time ago when AZ was in a funk.  I'm not sure they would today.

They're a solid upperclassmen filled team that plays defense and can attack both inside and out. They're top 4 both offensively and defensively on kenpom.

Lately they are taking care of business and beating the teams they are suppose to beat on their schedule. A win in November is the same as a win in March in the committees eyes. They have earned their projected 1 seed

They're the most complete team in basketball and nobody in the country is playing better than them...any average basketball fan can see that. In November I said I think this is a Final Four year for them and got completely bashed. When you have 4 senior starters who have pretty much started since day 1 as freshmen that goes a long way. Hate to say it but they have it all and play true Indiana basketball...experience, great defense, legit inside presence, and an array of shooters. They benefit from the perennial powerhouses being down this year as well and no truly dominant teams like years past. They're nearly impossible to game plan and defend against and gonna be an extremely tough out in the tournament. If they don't make the Final Four this year it's gonna be a long time before they have another chance and could very well be in the bottom half of the B1G next year losing as much as they do after this year.
