The Year they won it all they had a Senior coming off the bench and two sophomores starting. But it wasn't the returning guys that made that team so great. It was Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Those two were just that good.

They never would have beat even us without the returning vets though.

To win it all you have to experience.

I think there's been only two teams in the OAD era that have won it all with more than one OAD. Puke in 2012 and Duke in 2015

Those two were big parts obviously, but that senior made play after play after play for them down the stretch.  Let's not make it sound like he tagged along for the ride, he played a vital role himself.

Hard to disagree with him. We all expect Davis to flourish and other guys to improve, but the truth is IU is losing it's 3 best players and no immediate impact guys coming in. Still the results weren't great so my hope is that, while less talented and high-scoring, next season IU is still a much better team.

Last season we were 18-16 overall and only 7-11 in the B1G.  I don't care that we're losing OG, TB & JBJ, we are simply not going to be that poor next season.   I think we're all going to be pleasantly surprised and happy with our '17-'18 team after our season ends in the NCAA tournament.

Man I want this series back neutral court Indy every year if that's what Cal wants. This rivalry has to restart soon.

But we will be sooo much better coached.
