thats kind of questionable.. I know it's penny state but.. They are losing newbill.. He's everything to them.. They haven't sniffed the ncaas since he's been there..not saying he's a bad coach.. But 2 year extension? Just my opinion

I think it's a smart move by the PSU AD. Gives chambers the ability to combat opposing coaches saying he may get fired, while not tying the program to him if he fails.
