Class of '66 Old Fart Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Syracuse has fired Red Autry after three seasons, source confirmed to CBS Sports. The plan has been for current AD John Wildhack to fire Autry and then the incoming AD to make next hire. Home Jersey 1 Quote
Jeff Flabjohns Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Three tourney-less seasons would do in DDv as well. No issue with that Home Jersey 1 Quote

If Iowa loses that will be 7 out of their last 9 they will have lost with 2 of those to Maryland which is 137 NET nc state has lost 6 out for their last 7 and a loss today would be 7 out of 8. skhoosier2 and Home Jersey 2 Quote

No issue with that For sure. 3 strikes, you're out in supremely fair in sports. If we followed it with Woodson, we'd have hired Dusty when Michigan did. And if we followed it with Archie, but still hired Woodson, we could've hired Dusty coming off his final four run. 3 strikes and out is fair. Don't need to give every coach 4 years. Quote

Home Jersey Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Love Evan Miya's work. Seems notable the four likely 1 seeds all have really good 8th men. This shows the difference between each team's most impactful and 8th impactful player. IU is not in the chart because I'm pretty sure he only includes the projected field at this time of year in his graphics. Safe to say ours would look similar to BYU, Iowa, Ohio State. Also interesting how little drop off there is for Louisville. Quote
Home Jersey Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Just now, LamarCheeks said: Woody actually did make the tourney his first two seasons. True but his 3rd season sucked terribly and he wasn't even putting effort into the job so he earned being canned despite the two tournament appearances IMO but no need to relitigate the situation that screwed us out of hiring a possibly generational coach lol Uspshoosier and skhoosier2 2 Quote
