Michigan is apparently now the highest rated team in KenPom history.

Some of the best national champions in the Kenpom era usually had a rating around 33 or 34. The UK team that almost went undefeated was 36.91. Michigan is now 39.37.

6 timeouts between the teams with under a minute left. I could get a full night of sleep and catch the end of this thing live when I wake up.

4 taken and counting. 3 without a single tick coming off the clock.

Seattle is a pretty solid team this year.  First year for them in the WCC.   Already beat Washington and Stanford this year.

Yeah, they’ll be in the tier below the Zags and Saint Marys. They were tough in the WAC, one of the few that could hang with Grand Canyon.

Tonight foul call with .1 to go.   Sparty down 2 with 2 shots to try and tie it up

Izzo had a timeout in his pocket and never used it. He didn't want to let Nebraska get set defensively, but it was a scatter as soon as MSU crossed half court and he should have set something up.

But he lost, so I'm not complaining. Purely criticizing from my couch.

California drills a 3 with 5 seconds left to tie Notre Dame. Ref calls a ticky tack hand on the hip foul on ND and they make it a four pt play to take the lead and hold on for the win. Shrews had to be restrained after the game from going after the ref.

Delivering in the wee hours

Not to mention the foul only touched jersey and occurred way before the shot so was in no way a shooting foul.  Was a good game otherwise; too bad the players didn't get to decide it on the court.

I would watch Shrews throttle someone. There's entertainment value there.

Winning in Lincoln is going to be a TALL task for anyone that has to go out there this year. That arena is rowdy and Hoiberg has a squad.

I think Hoiberg is underrated as a coach, very low key guy, doesn't demand or want a lot of attention. A guy we probably should have looked at harder, not sure he was even on our radar?

Probably not available.

When coaches are in excellent situations they don’t want to leave. We love IU but a guy like Hoiberg is thinking like any of us when presented with options to pull up stakes for a new employer.

Shrews went full chaotic mode last night

He had every right to. Bad calls are part of the game, but that one decided the game.

From a fans perspective maybe, but as a coach and leader you can’t behave like that. Bad look for him even though he was completely jobbed.
