Winchester (Ind.) High junior running back Kiante Enis received his first offer from Indiana, Saturday, during a visit to the Hoosiers campus.

 

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Enis has been in regular contact with the IU staff dating back to the summer when he ran a 4.3 second 40-yard dash in camp.

 

So far this season, Enis has carried 220 times for 2,560 yards and 39 touchdowns. The yardage ranks No. 2 nationally according to Maxpreps.

Winchester (Ind.) High running back/defensive back prospect Kiante Enis will visit Indiana on Thursday with a few teammates, his coach Mike Jones tells 247Sports.

 

The Hoosiers were the first to offer the 6-foot-1, 180-pound Enis, who rushed for 3,189 yards and 49 touchdowns as a sophomore, finishing near the top of the national leaderboard in both categories.

 

Indiana is competing with Cincinnati to keep the in-state talent home for school.

 

Enis has been to Bloomington a few times in the past.

Can't say for sure but Curtis went to Mississinawa Valley which is just across the line in Ohio so I'd guess related some how.
