Rick Bozich Watches a 2.5 Hour IUBB Practice!

Recommended Posts

I wouldn't write Collin Hartman off at this juncture...

The talent level has increased from this year to last year and he didn't even play a lot last year. Who knows when he will get back into the mix of being able to fully practice, he is going to be behind in everything. If Etherington ended his IU career with a transfer, I see Hartman ending up the same way. We have a handful of guys that shoot the ball better than him and that is his best attribute (supposedly) as a player.

I find passing to be Hartman's best skill. I'm not saying he's going to break into the top ten at any point, but I highly doubt he transfers from IU. Highly doubt that.

I just honestly don't see him getting any time this year. Even Hoetzel I think is ahead of him. Passing is a great skill to have but if guys ahead of you can pass and shoot the ball and drive….
Hartman is no better than Abell, Hollowell, and Etherington and they all transferred. Again its pure speculation but I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave after this year. Unless he wants to be a 4 year bench mob all american.

Well he is playing very well and he was in the first 5 today.

That HMP's hands 'still need work' is a little concerning to me.

His hands still need work, but Mosquera-Perea appeared more confident.

Yeah I agree, this part made me cringe.  I think he'll be improved by virtue of being an upperclassman, i.e. not feeling rushed or anxious, but he can't be turning the ball over every third time he gets it down low.

Did not say he was a freshman...

Yeah but you quoted the part of the article that was talking about 5 FRESHMAN and said you said that Burton was sneaking into the top 5….you aren't making much sense there compadre

Stop nitpicking, Kepner. The information is mighty interesting!

Bb4iu; one more question if I might:

Is Burton's rise largely a product of surprising achievement by Ryan, or surprising lack of achievement by some in our top eight?

I'm in the small minority that said to give Hartman a chance...just sayin...

*pats self's back*

He's talking about Ryan Burton I think. A little hard to tell but it would be hard for Hartman to be in the top 5 if he has not been cleared for full participation.

Well the post he quoted was entirely about Hartman. But now that you say that, it makes sense. If he is talking about Burton...whoa...

I wasn't nitpicking, I was trying to get him to clarify cause it was one of the most confusing posts I've read on here. He was replying to things without mentioned who or exactly what he was talking about. Sorry for trying to understand what the heck is going on haha

Hate to go middle of the road but I would say a little of both
