I don't believe JBJ will ever make it to an NBA roster and it's either bounce around G-Leage or head overseas. He couldn't make it last year and now he's got another crop of newcomers he has to beat out. Really wonder what could have been had he not had to undergo 3 knee surgeries. I also really wonder about TB's future. He was dynamite in his G-League games but couldn't sniff playing time when the Lakers called him up and that was a team that wasn't going anywhere and still didn't give him any real playing opportunites. This year they jettison him - yes in part because of the NBA salary structure - but they clearly didn't see a future for him in their organization. The Wizards sign him and apparently are in the process of signing Dwight Howard so they don't see TB as a starter. He's making a seven figure salary for the time being, but what's his future when that contract expires - rhetorical question. Quote

Bryant's gonna either be the 3rd string center behind Dwight and Mahinmi or he'll spend another year in the g-league. I personally don't think he'll ever get enough playing time for anyone to offer him a 2nd contract after his rookie deal is up. And I agree with you, I don't think a lot of the people that disliked JBJ understand what 3 major knee injuries does to a player. Quote
KingPG21 Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 I want to give Trae Young the benefit of the doubt. Dude isn't anywhere close to being ready for the NBA. Quote
IUfan_Charlie Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 Peak Troy on ESPN right now. All over the place, top tier cutting on offense, has 10 points, just threw a terrible pass out of bounds. Stromboli and thebigweave 2 Quote

But he was exactly the type of player we needed. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
KingPG21 Posted July 8, 2018 Posted July 8, 2018 Carter Jr.>Bagley. Again, its just summer league but I don't think Bagley is even a top 3 big in this past draft let alone the second pick type guy. Ayton is obvious, Jackson has elite tools/potential, and Carter is more diverse than Bagley just more raw. Bagley's motor is great, but there are bigs I want way more than him Quote

Bagley's motor is great, but there are bigs I want way more than him I think Bagley will be a very solid starter at some point but he'll have a rough year. His defense needs a lot of work and he can't use his right hand at all. He constantly shoots with his left when he should use his right, he'll get blocked quite a bit this year. You can't teach his motor tho. Quote
