Man, IT has completely fallen off the map as even being a quality player. Went from being traded for Kyrie and a top ten pick to being traded for Clarkson and Larry Nance.

I know he's still recovering from the hip injury, but he's been absolutely terrible this season. He looks like he belongs in the G League right now.

So IT is saying he won't come off the bench. Might as well ruin anything you had going for you while you are at it. Don't know if he has realized it, but he is horrible, like marginal NBA player horrible right now.

Lol, I kind of hope the Lakers start him with Ball, if you're gonna suck, might as well go all out in sucking.

Portland traded Noah Vonleh to Chicago for some guy named Milocan Rakovic......

Portland did this to get under the Luxury Tax. He's still only 22 but man he hasn't panned out at all. He rebounds and that's it.

Rough shooting night for Yogi.  JBJ a perfect 10-10 from the charity stripe.

Anyone else think Paul Pierce is a little annoying. His sense of self with sky high. He was a great player but his rivalry towards LeBron and lack of acknowledgement of Lebron's successes bothers me.

Idk, maybe it's because I like LeBron, but Pierce rubs me the wrong way.

Great all-around game from Vic in a Pacers win over the Knicks.   Also a solid game from Yogi although the Mavs were beaten by the Rockets.  Tough shooting night for EG in that game.  Needs to get that out of his system before the 3-pt. contest all-star weekend.

TB with a big G-League performance.

Vonleh yet to enter a game for the Bulls.  Looks like they  really didn't want him as a player as much as they wanted his expiring contract.  Take note of TB's +43.  The South Bay Lakers annihilated the Texas Legends 155-114.  They scored 46 in the 1st Q and 41 in the 2nd before easing up in the second half.

Was this Troy's last game in the Rockets organization?  Will another team pick him up?  Stay tuned tomorrow for the continuing saga of As The Troy Turns!

The G-League will be on an extended break until Feb. 21 with the only game in the interim being a contest on the 18th between the Mexico National Team and NBA G-League USA squad which does not include any of our IU guys.   And before anyone asks, no, I have no idea why neither Troy or TB aren't on this team.   I'm guessing it's because both are on an NBA roster and classified as Inactive when they've played in G-League games and thus they aren't considered as fulltime G-League players.

We've officially reached the All-Star break and regularly scheduled games will not resume until the 22nd.  Not a lot of games left for teams to battle for playoff spots or draft position depending upon how good or bad the team is.  We've also officially reached the point where Mrs. Old Fart and I are heading out next Tuesday for our annual Blow The Kids Inheritance While There's Still One To Blow and you won't see these daily updates again until March 6 or 7.  I'm too addicted to this motley crew to go cold turkey and I'll still be periodically checking the threads, but will likely not be an overly active poster to which some of you are saying to yourselves "thank heavens, we get a break!"  LOL     But in the interim,

GO IU.
