If I were IT this season I'm not sure I could have dressed myself for a game. Quitting on his team?

I thought the same thing at the time regarding IT but looking back I have to believe those games were the only thing keeping him sane. Definitely feel horrible for him and his family.

It just seems like his teammates let him down too often. Are his teammates looking for him to finish a play and not ready? There are two sides that are passionate about their stance. The LeBron side seems to think he does almost everything right and his teammates let him down. The Jordan side looks at the titles and the dominance.

Anyone who bashes a player whose parent was murdered is a coward. If I were IT this season I'm not sure I could have dressed myself for a game. Quitting on his team? I'm not sure that's fair. Did LeBron quit on his team when he made his Decision to go to Miami? Yes, he took the Heat for making an immature announcement.

I honestly can't stand the whining. It frustrates me to no end seeing grown men almost crying to get a call when they get the benefit of 90% of the calls. I get that it happens and most teams do it. Jordan got a ton of calls in his time. I don't recall him trying to get opponents T'd up or suspended.

Not sure how you get "bashing a player whose parent was murdered" out of that, but oh well.   LeBron never even had a dad. It sucks that Jordan had to go through that, but I'm still not 100% convinced that was why he quit. His comments about David Stern when he retired lead me to believe the conspiracy theory holds some weight.

The Decision was dumb, but his immature announcement raised millions for charity so even Lebron's screw ups are beneficial. Jordan didn't play during the social media age. When LeBron complains about a call it's seen by millions of people on the Internet. That didn't happen when Jordan played. Imagine if it had and pictures of Jordan out gambling at the casinos the night before playoff games were leaked. LeBron would get crucified about how he doesn't take the game seriously.

That's true. I'm blessed to have never gone through something like that but it's probably a few hours where he wasn't constantly thinking of his sister.

Told my buddies before the game the NBA wasn't going to let the cavs get swept. Watch how physical the cavs are allowed to be against steph and KD off ball and on ball.

The NBA is lucky nobody got hurt in that game. Refs had no control and didn't know the difference between a regular foul, flagrant, or technical. No consistency. That was just bad. Glad it wasn't close so neither team could fall back on that.

I said after game 3 it would go 6 or 7. A lopsided series doesn't help the NBA.

It could have easily gotten out of hand. It started in the second half of the third game. There were obvious missed calls on both ends of the floor. I would hate to see a series decided by a player getting hurt because the officials didn't do their job.

The Cavs know what they have to do to make it a series. The NBA also knows. The Cavs made shots tonight though.

The Cavs were trying to do what they needed to do last night. They tried baiting Golden State every chance they got. It was smart they have nothing to lose at this point but if you can get a couple warriors suspended then you have a chance.

Shumpert got really lucky, you don't stand over another grown man like that and not expect something in return.

Three more invitations to the NBA Draft went out today, sources told DraftExpress. Frank Ntilikina, Jarrett Allen and John Collins all received Green Room invites. A few more players will be contacted by the NBA League Office on Monday with additional invitations to Brooklyn for June 22nd.  Ten players, including projected top-two picks Markelle Fultz and Lonzo Ball, have been invited to attend the 2017 NBA draft at the Barclays Center in New York on June 22nd, league sources told DraftExpress. The invited players, in alphabetical order: Lonzo Ball Zach Collins De'Aaron Fox Markelle Fultz Jonathan Isaac Josh Jackson Lauri Markkanen Malik Monk Dennis Smith Jayson Tatum.

The group of green room prospects is expected to reach up to 20 when ten more invites go out in the next few days, a challenging process for the NBA League office to undertake reflecting the uncertainty revolving around the draft. The likes of Frank Ntilikina, Donovan Mitchell, Luke Kennard, John Collins, Justin Jackson, OG Anunoby are expected to make up that group.  The process of deciding who to invite to the NBA Draft involves a significant amount of communication with GMs of teams picking throughout the first round, to ensure that players who are in the NBA Draft Green Room aren't sitting for very long under the bright lights of a national TV audience, as the second round approaches. Last year, Deyonta Davis (#31), Dejounte Murray (#29) and Skal Labissiere (#28) all waited quite a long time to hear their names called, a situation the NBA will certainly try to avoid.

Sources say the league office and many team front offices are struggling to get an accurate read on which players will make up the group drafted outside of the top 12-14 picks, making it especially difficult to nail down the final 6-8 players who will be invited. There is a large contingent of 15-20 big men, which includes the likes of Ike Anigbogu, Jarrett Allen, Justin Patton, Harry Giles, T.J. Leaf, Jonathan Jeanne, Bam Adebayo, Isaiah Hartenstein, Anzejs Pasecniks, D.J. Wilson, Tyler Lydon, Ivan Rabb, Tony Bradley, Mathias Lessort, Thomas Bryant, Johnathan Motley, Caleb Swanigan and Kyle Kuzma all vying for spots in the bottom half of the first round. It's unclear at the moment how many NBA teams will even decide to use a first round pick on a big man considering the direction the NBA game is heading, with positionless basketball being en vogue and the premium on size no longer being as pronounced as in the past. That should create compelling television on Draft night, but also quite a bit of confusion and drama among NBA teams, agents, players and their families. - Source: http://www.draftexpress.com/article/nba-draft-green-room-invites-begin-to-trickle-out-5988/ ©DraftExpress

This is a really bad idea, imo. It should be left up to the teams, and the problem of players resting is really blown out of proportion in the first place. It only happens a handful of times a year. I'm not a big fan of Adam Silver. He has no business telling coaches how to handle their teams. He should be more worried about the fact that the playoffs were a joke this season anyway.

Say what you want about Lebron James.

He's does stuff MJ dreamed about doing.

My 2 biggest knocks on LBJ. Free throw shooting and the killer instinct.

I think the "no killer instinct" think is overblown. These are his last 11 games facing elimination. He might not be the best guy to take the last shot, but he's going to give you everything you need to get to that point. image.thumb.jpeg.4972e4f3822cb8b88de3fdb7b3a9d119.jpeg
