LeBron passed Kareem last night for second on the all time playoff scoring list last night. Depending on how far he goes in the playoffs he could pass Jordan for #1 this season.

The Spurs take a 2-1 lead over the Rockets with a 103-92 win despite 43 pts. from James Harden.  For the game, the Rockets only shot 36% from the floor and 31% on 3's.   The injury Tony Parker sustained in Thursday's game was a torn quad tendon and he's already undergone surgery to repair it and is done for the season.

I know this is a pretty hot hot take, but Kawhi Leonard is an overrated "superstar" imo. Didn't even play in the 4th quarter tonight despite it only being a 15 point game at that point. Some want to put him up with LeBron at the top of the league but then they hold him to incredibly low standards. I've never seen anyone criticize him when the Spurs lose. They'll likely lose to Houston and no one will talk about how he choked or how he's not clutch or anything like that.

It's just kind of annoys me when they want to compare guys to LeBron but then they don't hold them to the same standard. It was KD a few years ago, then it was Steph and now it's Kawhi. With LeBron if he loses it's always his fault, no matter how well he plays and no matter how poorly his teammates play. It's not like that for anyone else. If the roles were switched there would be an abundance of hot takes about how LeBron "doesn't want to win" and how "Jordan never would've sat out a 4th quarter in the playoffs." 

I'm hoping Houston wins because I think they have a (slim) chance against Golden State. At the least it'll be an interesting series. I think San Antonio would get steamrolled by the Warriors.

Rockets even the series with a 125-104 win over the Spurs.  The following from ESPN sums it up:

 A couple of nights after their collective no-show, Eric Gordon, Ryan Anderson and Lou Williams played major roles in the Rockets’ series-tying 125-104 victory in Sunday night’s Game 4 at the Toyota Center.

Gordon, Anderson and Williams combined for 48 points on 19-of-39 shooting Sunday, a far cry from their 11 points on 3-of-18 shooting Friday.

I think part of that is Lebron will take every chance to tell you how good he is while Kawhi will keep his mouth shut or talk about the team.

I have to say I am looking forward to the Cavs and Warriors final. Just have to wait a few weeks to get there.

I dont think you could be more wrong. I dont like LeBron at all but the guy gets unnecessary blame a lot. If he wins its because he got help from refs, but if he loses its always that hes overrated or he chocked. I heard the same thing from Pacer fans every year when Miami kept sending them home, it was always the refs fault because they helped LeBron and Miami win, instead of the truth that Miami just owned the Pacers.

Seems like a pretty petty take. The guy goes all out to win, and he's be crucial to multiple titles on multiple teams. It's not whining, he's demanding and he's earned it.

You mean when he had his first stint on the Cavs team when he led them to their first Finals appearance in his fourth season in the NBA? Or when he won back to back titles and went to the Finals four years in a row with the Heat? Or when he carried the Cavs in 2014-2015 with Kyrie and Love injured? Or his championship last year? That 2016 Finals series was one of the single most impressive individual efforts in sports.

He's a winner and has proven he can win with the right players around him. I don't think it's a "narrative" or that he's acting like a clown by demanding an adequate supporting cast.

I was not a fan of younger LeBron's antics, but he's matured and has definitely earned the right to make these demands and expect a good team around him.

Whenever Lebron's team lose he gets the blame. Look at the 2014 finals for example where they lost 4-1 to the Spurs.

Lebron: 28.2/7.8/4.0 on 57/52/79 shooting. 

Wade and Bosh COMBINED: 29.2/9.0/3.6 

Wade and Bosh were both supposed to be stars, and they didn't show up. Take a guess on where all the blame went. People throw out the 3-4 in the finals to discredit him, but the 2011 Finals where the Heat lost to the Mavericks were the only time he lost in the Finals because he played poorly. He was awful that series and deserves plenty of blame for it.  

In the finals this year LeBron will likely average close to a 30 point triple double for the series and lose to a team with Durant/Curry/Green/Thompson in the starting lineup, and people will hold it against him and say it tarnishes his legacy.
