(2017) PF Jaren Jackson Jr. to Michigan St.

Starting to feel like 1 out of 4 to me. Order of likelihood appears to be Wilkes, Scruggs, Williams, Jackson.

Wilkes has been told that he is THE guy we want for his position.

Scruggs is being recruited as a PG like we did with Blackmon. He wants immediate PT. Newkirk/RoJo/Green/CuJo could hinder that. For that reason IDK.

Williams has been heavily recruited by IU. Appears to be drawn to others. I've heard MSU and now Louisville. He may not be the type for our program. IDK.

Jackson.. Can't explain it. We've never be considered as leaders or in the head pack. Have not been chasing him. He is enamored with Maryland currently.

I think if Scruggs is patient he'll get his time to shine. He might be behind a lot as a frosh but after that he'll have the spotlight.

Sophomore year

Juniors: CuJo, Green, Gelon

Sophomores: Scruggs, Durham

He would be a featured guard in that group. Starting backcourt of Scruggs and CuJo would be solid..

I would take that in a heartbeat. With a good/great 2016-2017 season that re rioting class would have is in the top 10 the following season.

I'm okay with Durham if he ends up as the only guard in the class. Love this kids game. Needs to fine tune some things, but an awesome piece of clay to be developed by the staff.

Think we need another guard in 17. If not the year after we'll have to bring in a slew of guards. After 2017-2018 we'll lose Newkirk, JBJ, and RoJo for sure leaving only CuJo, Green, Durham, and Gelon. I'd rather pickup two in 2017 to balance that a little better.

Just heard Maryland, then heard it was overblown, then the recruiting reset after his spring blowup. I think it's pretty open but I expect him to go to a "better" basketball school than Maryland. That's the gist of it, there is some content. I think i mentioned  earlier Gtown is basically out with his Dad having a strained relationship. Have not heard Kansas per Noah above, but idk this one could drag out.

Recruiting is fun and drives the fans that follow it closely crazy sometimes. Most people here with good reason thought Jackson is the least likely to end up at iu but with how recruiting goes sometimes I could see him being the only one from Indiana to come. Although I think we land Wilkes.
