Big Ten Coach of Year Prediction

Who do you think will be selected as Big Ten Coach of the Year for the 2014-2015 season?  It's just an educated guess at this point but I have to believe the odds are in Wisconsin's favor to dominate this year and ole Bo got passed over last year. So--I pick....

Tim Myles could be a likely candidate.

If they build off last year and finish to top 25. I see Tim getting it. Unless Bo Ryan kills it and wins BIG and finishes top 3.

COY seems to go to the coach that exceeds expectations. That is WHY I think Crean deserved it during Cody's frosh year.

Lots of GREAT coaches in the B1G.

Good comments---we will see how this unfolds throughout the season. Wiscy may win the league but after them and maybe OSU the race is up for grabs! Here's to hoping we make that top group!

My guess would be either Bo Ryan or Myles.  Wisconsin is always near the top of the conference though, and Myles is doing a pretty good job at Nebraska.

Being objective---we have to admit they are building something at Nebraska---better Coach than in past--better talent ---better facilities, etc.!  Dang that football $$$$$$!

Don't the coaches vote on this? If so, forget about Crean ever winning it. The 2012 and 2013 COY awards were all the evidence you need.

So TheWatShot--I also thought we got robbed in 2012-2013 COY Awards. What is your theory on why that was???? I really feel like some Big Ten schools--go out of their way to negative recruit against IU as well (OSU!)

I think it's just the way he carries himself, along with over-signing and purging his roster every spring. To me, he just comes off as a Type A personality full of manic energy who inadvertently pisses people off with what he says and does.
