Starting insanity on Monday wish me luck.

Best of luck, let us know how it goes. I got in a good groove of running, but then u got a cold and when I was about to get back, I slipped on the ice real hard Sunday. Left arm and hip were very sore. Been out for 3 weeks with the colt and soreness. Going to give it a try tonight. Do a light two mile jog.

In my second week of insanity and this **** is no joke. Loving be challenge can already notice differences in my endurance and have lost a couple pounds as well.

Good job and keep up the good work! I did Insanity for about six weeks, so I finished the first part, the break week and just into the second month. I lost about seven pounds and got into good cardiovascular shape. I stopped early because my body got too beat up from the workouts. Five, six days a week the workouts are very hard on the joints, so be careful.

Insanity is great but I found a lot of success using Insanity as a hybrid with P90X. I replaced the P90X cardio workouts with Insanity. The mix between the two programs kept my body guessing.

Right now I'm actually alternating Focus T25 (a 25 minute version of Insanity) with DDP Yoga. I like how these workouts are easy on the joints.

I used to run until it started to become hard on my knees and ankles. I quit running and gained weight. I bought a bike and that has been fun and a lot easier on my body. I have a speed I like to maintain to get my heart rate up and have some benefit. The goal is to match what I was doing while running.

The positive are that my joints feel good, but it is hard to ride in the winter. Stationary bikes bore me and I lose interest. I can't wait for Spring!
