Tim Priller Interview

Recommended Posts

Not sure about April but the JB2, RoJo, Max, and Tim all follow our site... :)

Great interview.  Looking forward to seeing them all play.

I hope they're secretly contributors.

Hoosier Hipster is definitely JBJ.

Though, I'm also pretty sure the general is Coach Crean. That's what the "cc" stands for.

Definitely humble. One answer that stood out to me was how he wasn't promised any minutes but he's determined to work hard to get those minutes. No entitlement, just willing to work and improve.

And everything with him is team first.

He was catching a lot of heat yesterday, but i'm glad he's excited to play at IU!  He does seem to have a high bb IQ and does realize what he needs to work on to improve his game.  Lucky for him his S and C coach is one of the best I've seen!  Give it hell Tim!

You lost me there, what kind of heat was he catching yesterday? I guess I missed that.

Not sure about his talent for this level, but he seems like a great kid that is extremely humble with a high BBall IQ and works hard. He also seems like a great teammate.

This is where I am.  I hope nobody expects him to jump out the gate.  Chances are he won't.  If he works hard, lets see where he is in years 3 and 4.  Not saying he will be a starter, but the way we run through bigs he may be a contributor.  High BBIQ is not something our bigs have had under Crean outside of Zeller.

I am hoping that between him and Max, one of them can show enough strength and court awareness to be able to hold their own on the defensive end of the floor.

Right now, I (and I believe most of us) would speculate that Max is the more likely of our stretch fours to make it into the rotation, but you never know.
