Indiana landed the state's top quarterback in the class of 2015 in Tommy Stevens, now the focus moves to the next class.

Avon (Ind.) High 2016 four-star quarterback Brandon Peters has been invited to attend the Hoosiers' practice Sunday.

The 6-foot-4, 190-pound Peters already holds scholarships from Iowa and Virginia Tech. He is the top-ranked quarterback in the state according to 247Sports, the No. 3 prospect overall in Indiana and the country's No. 13 pro-style passer.

As a sophomore, Peters completed nearly 60 percent of his passes for 1,405 yards and 13 touchdowns. He added another four rushing scores.

Indiana offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Kevin Johns will be out to see Avon (Ind.) High 2016 four-star quarterback Brandon Peters on Friday.

The Hoosiers landed the state's top quarterback in 2015 in Decatur Central's Tommy Stevens, and Peters is the top-ranked passer according to 247Sports I 2016.

Already holding offers from Iowa and Virginia Tech, Peters visited Bloomington in August and will return for the Michigan State game this fall. He's high on the program, especially head coach Kevin Wilson.

The 247Sports Composite ranks Peters as the nation's No. 13 pro-style passer.

Avon (Ind.) High junior four-star quarterback Brandon Peters will visit Indiana for practice Wednesday and for the Michigan State game Saturday.

The Hoosiers have already offered the 6-foot-5, 203-pound Peters and are the early 247Sports Crystal Ball favorite.

Peters also has scholarships from Iowa and Virginia Tech, and plenty of interest from several major programs.

A teammate of 2015 Indiana commit Joey Belden, Peters has been to Bloomington a few times in the past and has a strong relationship with his recruiter Kevin Johns.
