Naturalhoosier Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Took my son out for his first fishing trip today. He pulled up an Oyster Toadfish (bottom feeder ugly fish) and a sand shark. His GPa caught a couple blowfish. Sent from my XT1575 using BtownBanners mobile app Napleshoosier, IUsafety, Stuhoo and 4 others 7 Quote

How they don't have teeth like a mako. He got whipped by the tail while posing for that pic. Naturalhoosier Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Went out again this morning but it was pretty choppy. Stayed in the bay and only fished for about an hour. It was wind against the tide so getting any movement was next to impossible. Pulled up a small black bass and sand shark. Nothing worth taking pics of. Beowulf50 Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 I love to fish and had a nice ranger bass boat. Took it to Texas twice "land of big bass" and biggest we caught was 6lb bass. Went up the road and caught 7 lb bass on Patoka Lake twenty minutes from my house. I'm still waiting on that 10 pounder to put on the wall! HoosierAloha, mamasa, IUsafety and 3 others 6 Quote

Have had a few specks(crappie) on top too, always a surprise. I've never fly fished. When I caught that bluegill I kept it about as simple as possible, a worm and a cane pole. Caught one every time the line hit the water and about as soon as it hit the water too. I reamber those stories of catching fish on the cane poles! I am the youngest of five kids....I got the store bought pole. Maybe why I bought the bass boat. Believe me I have had dreams about the simpler times! ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
Popular Post hsrtxp Posted August 30, 2016 Popular Post Posted August 30, 2016 My son got this largemouth a couple of weeks ago on a top water. Rico Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Fishing is a big part of my life. Went out this morning. Ice was good at 6-8"s. The bite sucked. Brought home 5 gills, and 1 crappie. ALASKA HOOSIER 1 Quote
