I gave us a D+ and said nothing about our losses. I realize they were bad losses. I have a pulse. Why is my opinion on something wrong if it is my opinion? Why is everyone telling me I need to hate IU more right now?

1) Nobody hates IU 2) Nobody is saying your opinion is wrong 3) This is a message board... meant for conversation. If you don't want to explain your views thats fine, but don't get defensive if people try to understand your reasoning. Thats all.

we never demonstrated an ability to adjust our style of play to suit our talent

 

our talent proved to be overrated and misevaluated

 

our roster proved to have major holes in it

 

our roster suffered a major setback with Fischer's transfer mid-season

 

we lost home games to Nebraska, Penn St, and Northwestern and got demolished against a bad Purdue team

 

anything but a F is laughable

F.  With all the "talent" this is the most embarrassing awful season I can remember besides the year of SampsonGATE. 

 

At least now we can get moving on towards next season. Find out who goes pro, who transfers, etc....

Good wins are often overshadowed by bad losses.  Look at Peyton Manning, he's won many big games in his career, but he always seems to get mentioned for the bad losses he's had.  I guess people are naturally negative. :scratchhead:

We have two McDonald's All Americans and a cast of players that were successful in high school. I blame Crean and the players for never coming together. There was never any feeling that this was a team that wanted to fight for each other, or enjoyed being with each other. You could feel it watching the team in warm ups. I am not sure this team would have been any better with another coach, unless there was someone that needed to be kicked off the team and wasn't.

 

I feel we will get better by subtraction of some that will be happier somewhere else, and better from new players that hopefully have a strong work ethic and character. Could we do much worse?

No improvement what so ever. We had a lottery pick in Vonleh and didn't feed him as much as we should. Stupid turnovers game after game. And we'd get momentum going and Crean would sub. This season was a huge headache to say the least. We were to gifted to have it turn out this bad.

I can't recall a time where IU fans booed the head coach during a game midway through conference.  I can't recall a team that just felt completely out for themselves.  I honestly don't care right now who transfers or goes to the NBA.  If you don't want to be at IU, I don't want them representing me.  Can you guys imagine if Vic would have been here this year?  He would have been up their ass!  I am all for them being friends, but someone has to step up and out.  They have to be a leader.  As an IU fan and alum, this year was unacceptable.  Things better change for the better.  It better be a rough summer.

Well with the exception for a couple of D's it seems the F's have it.  Lets hope we don't have to grade on a curve for next year.

Considering it could have been worse, I will say D. We didn't finish last in the BIG (hooray).
