I think this summer will be interesting if there's a mass defection. Just a thought.

Look at the bright side! Crean has a reason to say it's not his fault next year! And, the apologists will be sure to mention it after every loss, of which there will be many. It's great from a certain point of view.

Uh, he put the team together, he doesn't have a plan B or C for Vonleh leaving early...it's his fault.

Well, yeah. But, just wait and see as certain folks lower the bar yet again and blame it on Vonleh leaving. It won't be Crean's fault. Never is.

Hate the losing as well. We would be singing kumbuya if we were winning. Well most would be.

I don't really see that much anymore around here.  They want him to succeed, but it is on him at this point.  When all he had was Luke and Noah, that was on him.  He has only recruited lottery tickets for bigs in between Zeller and Luke.  Luke leaving hurt him worse than Noah.

Well when you're 17-14 with many bad losses, your team is turnover prone, and the head coach often times appears to be clueless, and your best player and only quality big man is leaving early for the NBA, and there's rumblings of other defections yet to come, and next season leaves little hope of being better than this past season, well it's kind of hard to be cheery.

im personally not asking for anyone to be cheery. At all. Just a little more support expected on my end. We are a community that gathered here to SUPPORT our program.

Well, 2014 was weak for skilled bigs.  Think, Trey Lyles was committed to IU.  If he was coming here next year, would people still be worried?  Probably not.  There weren't many instant impact bigs out of 2014.  So Crean banked on getting one instant impact in 2013 and one potentially very good 4 year player.  I think we can agree Luke would have started next year and been a key contributor next year.  Problem is Luke was the only well rounded big we had recruited for 2012, 2013, and 2014.  When he transfers, Crean's seat was bound to get hot.

Watching all these conference tournaments this past week I've seen many teams in smaller conferences with big men that are actually pretty good, and I would say probably weren't highly rated out of high school, hence the reason they're at these smaller schools. Crean could get other big men, he just isn't good at it...and the fact that Cody and Noah never really developed under Crean is going to hurt, too.

No surprise here. He has been protecting his status for months. Why does a guy shooting 60% from 3 not shoot more 3's? I'll tell you why, he will miss 14 of his next 16, then the scouts can't say, he has outside range. All a ploy on potential and nothing about production.

Give me a player that fights, shoots, and produces, not a guy protecting his interests.

Damn, I'm pissed.

Also, Crean should have seen this coming from a mile away, oh wait, he did, and Goodluck said no thanks.
