I can see the headline tomorrow applauding Crean for his forward thinking.  "Coach Tom Crean becomes the first NCAA Men's coach to bring a Lesbian out of the stands!"  

 

Crean:  "Seemed like a good idea at the time.  Not sure why, but it did.  She seemed like she might play well in our zone.  Obviously, she struggled.  That is her fault."
