Luke Fischer leaving IU

Recommended Posts

Bruce Wayne's butler?

He was smart.  Understood a solid gameplan, and made good adjustments on the fly.  Not sure how he is at recruiting.  Couldn't even get Bruce Wayne to stop being Batman in the last movie.  He does admit mistake however.  He might be good at a lot of things, but not great at everything.  I think I have heard that before…..

Don't think I can handle more surprises

I don't know how Hoosier fans would react to another transfer.

Well on the other sites there are people hinting at one or two more transfers so...I don't know.  Honestly I kind of expected Jurkin to fall into that category.  That would not be a surprise to me.

If anyone other than Jurkin or Etherington transfers something is going on with the coaching staff, JMO. This one doesn't seem to be about Crean but there have been an abnormally large amount of transfers in the recent years: Malik Story, Nick Williams, Bobby Capobianco, Bawa Muniru, Remy Abell, Maurice Creek, and now Luke Fischer have all left during Creans tenure. (Not including Matt Roth).

I see...never saw him play or anything, just remember hearing he was really good. I do know he would be too big to be in B1G shape at this point though.

That isn't an abnormal rate at all.

Indiana high school all-star, correct? I think he has talked to Crean about possibly joining the team.

I'd say 7 transfers in 4 years in a lot. No?

Crean is in his 6th season at Indiana.  People over-react to transfers.  I remember when RMK was coach, every time a kid left IU people would act like he was chasing off kids left and right but our transfer rate never exceeded the NCAA average.

He may not have got him to stop being Batman, but he was smart enough not to interrupt dinner in Italy with Anne Hathaway.  Probably already a better choice than Mike Davis was.
