OT - - How are the roads in and around Bloomington?  My son has a swim meet up there this afternoon and debating on whether or not it's worth the risk.  We are driving from Santa Claus, IN.

I'm interested to see how they do. WCS and Randle are the only guys who really jump out to me, James Young occasionally, but he isn't very consistent. The Harrison twins are both just so "meh". Also, looks like Alex Poythrees might have to go back for his junior year, much improved draft this year, and his numbers aren't going to get him drafted, especially not in the first round, this all being said on a young season though

Not really...In a few weeks when conference starts....lets face it the SEC is cupcake version........

True. They'll get beat by Florida, and lose games they shouldn't though. Lot of talent on the team, but it won't be an amazing season. I think UK is a good team, but not a great team. And I don't think they'll ever be great this season.

There were threads on UK boards about the attitude of the twins, that it will be detrimental to the team. One suggested that one of the twins flipped off Calipari during a timeout (the old "fake wile the nose then flip off the coach" move), lol

Cal has won one NC with this "super freshman class" approach to recruiting and he had some seasoned guys on that team that helped push them over the top.  This philosophy garners a lot of publicity but the results usually don't match the hype.  

 

A little OT, but let me throw this out there.  If Cal falls short of winning a NC this year under this philosophy again (or even if he wins #2 God forbid), does he go to the NBA to be the new head coach somewhere for his BFF Lebron next year?

I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave for the NBA. If he were to lure LBJ somewhere that would make his life easy, and give off even more of an illusion that he is a great coach, given LeBron makes bad coaches look great........ Mike Brown for instance.
