Quentin Snider signs with Louisville ... 

 

 

Anyone else seeing this crazy Quentin Snider news? May remember he was once an IU target, but Crean never offered.

The guy decommitted from Louisville and ultimately committed to Illinois. Many expected him to sign with the Illini yesterday, but now he might flip and re-commit to Louisville. Recruiting is weird.

His decommit was based on JL going to U of L. Now that he opened his recruitment again Synder may want to revisit U of L.

Lots of issues in play today for Illinois. Of course if they miss on Cliff and QS heads home again..the meltdown by their fans would be comparable to Gordon, Livingston recruitments....and I would love watching every bit of it.

That was prob just a jab at IU and Crean :)

If he has that policy he's an idiot. Let's put it this way, if Pitino wants him, and QS wants to go there, it'll happen.

It was right after QS left... I think it was just some loud mouth doing the good riddance routine. If I could remember where I saw it or who said it I could probably go back and find the same clown saying how much they want him back now. Typical over-reaction trash talk.

Pitino is now talking up the recruiting class and not announcing their signing yet by saying there will be a big surprise.... I believe Snider will be staying home, and we can all watch the Illini meltdown!!! :)

Unfortunately most on Illinois boards won't realize this but losing QS is far more impactful than getting one year from Cliff. Guys like QS are program builders (Watford, Hulls mold) vs watching CA shatter a couple of dunks and leave.

I'll give you the JB2 stuff but Lyles was a completely different anger. It's how and why (the unofficial KY visit, Dad seeking position) that ticked all of us so much. Either way..this thread is about celebrating a bit of Illinois angst....not what our fans did.Haha

Some still think CTC should have gotten Lyles no matter what and failed by not doing so. They refuse to hear "why" he decommitted.  

 

As far as UI fans, I care about what they say just a tad more than what pu fans say.  :)
