68Hoosier Posted Sunday at 11:31 PM Posted Sunday at 11:31 PM We are flat and they came to play like it was a real in state game. Quote

These projections can be off with so much roster turnover year over year but they’re likely going to finish near the bottom of their league Their point guard is pretty solid and they have 1 first half turnover. Hardwood83 Posted Sunday at 11:32 PM Posted Sunday at 11:32 PM Refs are in mid-season form. EVERY bit of contact has been called all half, then Burton is pushed down and the ball "stolen" for a breakaway? RaceToTheTop 1 Quote

RaceToTheTop Posted Sunday at 11:34 PM Posted Sunday at 11:34 PM For Butler, Ellerbee off the bench was 6/10 and 3/4 from three. Rest of the team was 7/24 and 3/14 Quote

Home Jersey Posted Sunday at 11:35 PM Posted Sunday at 11:35 PM Fouls were a big issue on last year's team too, that said it's just October. Good to hear we're active on the boards. Wish I could watch it... sigh. Obviously you want to beat Butler, but I think UNC next week will be a better measuring stick. Butler has the stadium behind them, it's this group's first time playing D1 competition together, etc. HoosierHoopster, HinnyHoosier and RaceToTheTop 3 Quote

Uspshoosier Posted Sunday at 11:37 PM Posted Sunday at 11:37 PM Last year in an exhibition game Cincy beat Michigan. Michigan ended up winning the national championship and Cincy fired their coach. IU5355 Posted Sunday at 11:39 PM Posted Sunday at 11:39 PM First half takeaways Rebounding was fantastic Burton is really good Harris/lindsay/burton can shoot it deep Yigi looked composed, soft touch Mustaf attacks the rim but isnt great at finishing yet. Sherill seemed like he was trying to do too much and dribble too much. He may serve better slashing to the basket instead of trying to attack off the dribble. Way less deep unnecessary head scratching 3 point shots. Defense is a little out of sync thus far. RaceToTheTop and HoosierHoopster 1 1 Quote

I’m more interested how guys are playing individually, with whom, whose shot looks good, Burton’s decision making, etc Home Jersey 1 Quote
