Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 12 Posted January 12 IUWBB winless in conference and on a 5-game losing streak. Oy! Washington (12-4) (2-3) is on its own 2-game losing streak so................ Huskies average 73 ppg with a +16 margin shooting 44% FG and 37% on 3s. Strong rebounding team (ouch) averaging 41/gm with a +10 margin. Sayvia Sellers is their leading scorer at 18.6 followed by Avery Howell at 13.5 and Elle Ladine at 10.6. 3 players with any volume average 39% or better or 3s led by Howell at 44%. Howell also their leading rebounder at 7.7/gm. IU women played hard against Nebraska and Iowa but came up short. Washington is a winnable game for us but can we? Live Stats Radio mamasa 1 Quote
ronzo4IU Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I would start: Zania, Noyan, Shay, Beau & Jerni 1st off the bench: Jade, Maya, Stotijn, Caffey & Spreen Quote
mamasa Posted January 14 Posted January 14 I kinda forgot there was a game. I’ve been sick at home and doubt this game will make me feel better lol, but a win would certainly up my spirits!! I feel like this team is like an old engine- it sputters and is hard to get to fire, but if it does, it runs fine! Class of '66 Old Fart and HoosierHoopster 2 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 14 Author Posted January 14 I feel like our men's and women's teams too often seem like they're dying by a thousand cuts and we don't have enough bandages. Hopefully tonight we do. mamasa 1 Quote
HoosierHoopster Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Time to get the W. 3 of our 5 game losing streak I think was without Socka. mamasa 1 Quote

Claxdj01 Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Shay playing well. Assembly is empty as I’ve ever seen. Could have played in a high school gym today Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Yuck. A 20 point home loss to Washington. We are down bad. Quote
TheWatShot Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Probably not a good time to mention Purdue beat this Washington team a few days ago? We are so bad. ronzo4IU, WayneFleekHoosier and mamasa 1 2 Quote
NatHillIV Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Purdue beat 'em and they took it out on us. We were simply beaten in every aspect of the game. Makalusky was one bright spot. Really a bad game for us, and the schedule doesn't get much easier. mamasa 1 Quote
mickey one Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Seems like half of the offense is to take the ball to the hoop one-on-one (or one-on-many), and get it stuffed back in your face. If you don't have the ability to do that, then don't. Seems like eons ago where IU efficiently worked the ball to Holmes for deadly inside shots . . . or worked it to the open player like Scalia for a 3. Maybe Kadlecova leaving took a bigger toll than seemed evident at first. mamasa 1 Quote
