eddy4iu Posted August 29, 2025 Posted August 29, 2025 Hi Ed, We’re happy to share that we’ve reached a deal with Fox to keep their content on YouTube TV. That means you will continue to have access to Fox channels, including the Fox Broadcast Network, Fox News, and Fox Sports, and any Fox recordings in your Library. If you're subscribed to add-ons like Spanish Plus, 4K Plus, Sports Plus, and Fox Nation, access to that content also remains uninterrupted. We're pleased to have reached a deal that preserves the value of our service for our subscribers. That said, we know potential disruptions are frustrating, even when they don't occur, so we thank you for your patience. As a reminder, family managers have the ability to pause or cancel anytime. Thanks again for being a valued YouTube TV member. Sincerely, The YouTube TV team Quote

Dave from Dayton Posted August 29, 2025 Posted August 29, 2025 Which reminds me, if anyone has updates or news of other subscription deals please post. I'm interested, obviously, in IUsports. Such as whether to cancel Peacock and or others, then subscribe with spouse's name. Or whether there will be a deal and when. Thanks. Quote
AZ Hoosier Posted August 29, 2025 Posted August 29, 2025 Is this a final deal? They reported a few days ago that they had reached a temporary deal to allow them to continue negotiations, while YTTV could continue to carry their programming. Quote

Glad it's done, and I agree, it would have been pretty bad if they hadn't reach a deal. Quote

Yes - as "final" as these deals ever are - until next year at beginning of football season I suspect. We'll get to watch our game on FS1 but I have to imagine that Buckeye & Longhorn fans put up quite a fuss about the prospect of missing their #1 vs #3 match up on Fox Noon! Quote

These deals are typically multiple years so there shouldn't be an issue with Fox for some time. That said, there'll probably be an issue with another network next year as that contract is set to expire. The cost of YouTube TV will probably go up in a few months as a result of this. 2 hours ago, AZ Hoosier said: Is this a final deal? It does appear to be a long term deal so there shouldn't be an issue with Fox on YouTube TV for a few years. Quote

And for reasons like this, I also have a digital antennae receiver connected to my TV in case the Internet or problems with a streamer. eddy4iu and Ryno6284 2 Quote
