Puerto Rico Trip 8/5 - 8/12

Recommended Posts

Just searched online for the game with no success.

Has anyone reached out to IU?

If the game is not being broadcast publicly, the athletic department may be able to provide information on how to watch, even if it's only available to a select group or through a paid service.

I'm curious about another thing too.  When was the last preseason or regular schedule game played in Puerto Rico?

There is money to be made streaming this.  The biggest bball fanbase in the B1G is quite curious as to what their 100% new program looks like and people will pay (include me).  BTN+ or some streaming service will hopefully realize this and setup at least one camera (ideally three).

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but from what I've read there will be no streams available and apparently the B1G has some kind of 2 minute limit on game clips being made available.  Not sure why Puerto Rico wouldn't want to make some money by charging a fee for streaming services, but I guess it is what it is.

Thanks.  I hoped BTN had some sort of right of first refusal and if they passed someone else could stream it.

Our only hope now is an illegal stream.  Darn.

The Mega SuperBet fans will be upset too!  They want to see their team play the world famous Indiana Hoosiers.

Ya know, I get why they want to keep some lid on this stuff. Practices, private scrimmages, sure. And you know someone like Cal would be all over a streaming charge for practices.  But public games with actual tickets for sale? C'mon, it's silly not to make that stuff available.

That will make your anti-virus go haywire and may or may not have several pop-ups you’d be embarrassed for your wife to see.

Can’t wait!

Just as long as they can’t access the mods off-shore retirement accounts.  Priorities you know.

Reminds me of downloading the Pam and Tommy tape off lime-wire on my parents computer in the early 2000’s.

I am so ready to watch this team play.

A sort of meaningless / petty observation from me ... it always felt like these kinds of videos for Woody's teams were super edited with music and overly produced with things like graphic effects / slow motion. Like, the video team had to work hard to make something out of nothing, content wise lol. Think it's fair to assume a DDV practice is quite a bit more intense than a CMW one. So glad to have a CBB lifer leading the program.

Throughout the Miller/Woodson years, I always found myself thinking we didn't usually have the hallmarks of a team that gets after it in practice. I'm not surprised Miller and Woodson didn't want us to see their practices, because I think we would have eviscerated them and they both knew it.

I watched last year knowing Woodson was 99% dead man walking as a coach last year, and it felt like it didn't matter.  I am ready to watch some meaningful games.
