Sure has the feels of a 4 man freshman class in 2026.   Lots of offers.  Curious with the portal being the way it is.  However I think I love the approach.  Might be the cost effective way and maybe better chemistry.  Although those who don’t play generally aren’t happy so that’s that.  
 

Offering guys from all across the country.  This one in UNC’s backyard.  
 

I don’t believe you win these days with your best guys being Freshman unless you get a Duke like class. But plenty of freshman were very good this past season.  Wish we had Queen, Fland, McNeely.

A few years ago this would have most likely been UNC against the field, and while I don’t see IU here at all, it really says something about where Hubert is right now that this legitimately feels like an open recruitment.

Apparently he has a longstanding relationship with Rod Clark from his time at Tennessee and DDV has been in direct contact with him as well so maybe there's been a lot more to this recruitment than I thought.

Young Mr. Moody has put in more recruiting effort in his short time as a commit than ......  well you know who I'm talking about.

It looks like to me that Rod and Kenny are in the Carolina's. I really like Cloer. Without racially profiling too much, he reminds me of Chandler Parsons at this stage.

Cloer now has 7 officials set with the intention of a fall decision and IU is not 1 of them. Not like this one ever looked very promising, but it’s probably safe to call it over.

This will still be an interesting one to follow. Kid’s said a million times that UNC is his dream school. If he ends up elsewhere it would say a lot about how Davis is perceived at this point. If he goes out this year with his top 5 recruiting class and his really good portal class and all the money they spent and stinks it up again, man, they just  have to make a move there.
