Hopefully we saved up a few three pointers for tomorrow's game against Minny (18-6) (6-6) and 12-2 at home.   Gopherettes average 75 ppg with a +17 scoring margin.  They shoot 32% on 3s.  They have a +5 rebounding margin.  They have 5 women averaging double figures.  Jules was out with a foot injury of some type for the Rutgers game and no idea what her status is for this game.

See if IU Ladies are going to hit their stride starting with this game going down the stretch…a characteristic of T. Moren IU teams especially a few years ago.

Ugh -- another BIG-plus game.

Means I can't watch.

Minnesota has been terrible over the past few years, but seems much improved now. They kinda did what our men's team did -- hired a program legend who probably had no business getting the job (Whalen).

This will be a tough one.

I was just getting ready to say the first part. Wish they would show more of the women's games on TV instead of sticking them on just another subscription service only for people to cancel once you no longer need it.

L and M largely cost lead and gave it to Minny going into half.  However, no one is making shots. And Minny is making things difficult with their defense.

Watched every second.  We are very lucky to be down ONLY 2.  With the exception of one quick 11-2 IU run, our offense has been stuck in the mud.  Lots of bricks going up.  Several shots went around the rim several times and somehow came out.
Garzon, Parrish, and Meister are 1 for 14 combined.
Surely we can start moving the ball and making some shots.

If you saw the third quarter the other night, you'd find it impossible to believe this team could have 4-5 minute scoring droughts every game, but they do.

Now, the whole team is playing like Lilly did in first half where IU lost 4 point lead. Now, this game has turned into a toothache for IU Ladies.  Minny just going to out physical IU that’s stuck in the mud.

At start of game shots were rimming out.  As game went on shots were falling short.  Depending on outside shots if fall = win.  If they miss = loss.  If that’s almost all you got… equals 50% wins/losses.

Had it it not been for Woody's 'retirement' announcement IU basketball laid a big egg this weekend.   Women lose 66-56 and overall a pretty poor outing.  Lilly has been such a huge disappointment.  1 rebound today.  6'3" and she got 1 rebound and then was 0-5 FG.  And the loss isn't all on Lilly today.  The team was just 38% FG and let Minny totally dominate the boards 43-25.  That's pathetic.  OK, I'm done with my rant.
