For those tracking flights. I just saw on X, a KY account showing a private plane from Chicago go Lexington this morning.  LOL ... that doesn't happen in the middle of an NBA season does it, whether you are in or out of the Playoffs running?

Just going to post this. I laughed when we had people doing it and I'm laughing now.

He is leaving. UK isn't going to pay any buyout. The only buyout to be paid would be on his side. So him not telling them doesn't make any difference.

I'm aware of that. My post was if he decided to not go to Arkansas, so I'm not sure of what your point is. Maybe you should read the post you responded to again.

This is the contract provision people are referencing. The language is pretty broad, and you’d need to look at the rest of the contract to see what the consequences would be.

My point is that contract term is useless. It is most likely boiler plate. 

Cal either leaves and goes to Arkansas and nobody owes anyone any money. He stays and coaches next year at UK. Or he tries to stay and they end up negotiating a settlement and parting ways and Cal gets another job.

Right. And like I said above, it's boiler plate language for any coaching contract that really has no effect at all. I know this was in Crean's and Archie's and i am betting it is in Woody's too.

Per Kentucky radio dude -- Cal asked UK to counter Arkansas' offer. They refused. 

Not sure what he wanted them to offer. He's already making over $8.5M a year on a lifetime contract.
