Kinney seems unrealistic. I think he’ll be at UoL or UK. I don’t fault us for trying though. Smith I’ve read is going to be hard to get away from a Nike school, but I think we have a chance.

Really feels like U of L against the field here but IU has a strong pitch. We’ll see. Would bet on Rippey over Kinney.

Side note: TAY-LEN KIN-NEY is an exceptionally chantable name.

Maybe, maybe not. Would think Louisville will make a hell of a push here because they were in on both of the Adidas PG’s and aren’t even getting a visit from Rippey. Imagine they’ll empty the piggy bank on this one. But IU can do the same if they want to and the kid with the Adidas NIL deal is only visiting 3 Adidas schools. So it’s certainly worth watching closely. Personally I’ve always thought Rippey was the more likely of the 2 for IU, but we’ll see.
