If we had hired a new coach, we could be eight months into the road to recovery right now.  The $6M could have been better spent and I'd guess our HS recruiting class would be much better.  Plus we could be winning right now.

It's a shame.  IUBB is still very special and it shouldn't be neglected like this.  It can be so much more for the players, university, and fans.  

 

I think the portal class is much better than mediocre but they are only playing mediocre because their head coach is mediocre.  Teams take on the personality of their head coach and this team definitely has.  They are lazy, effortless, and doesn’t seem to communicate with each other well.

Possibly.  If we get a new coach it’s gonna be interesting to see what happens with the roster in the spring.

New coach with half the talent we currently have could do better than the current staff. As long as it's a good coach.

Just got home from a weekend of iu basketball mens and womens. Yesterday was incredibly sad to experience. Something must be done and I would recommend soon. If the fans don't want to watch the product that is probably worse than having a bad record. One pop from the crowed when malik got a slam and the foul. It's really hard to get excited because of the defense and the sleep walking on offense imo. Praying someone saves the mens program soon!

I'm guessing a new coach would not even want some of these high priced guys. It seems some may be here just for the paycheck

I didn't notice I was in balcony. Definitely some groaning we will call it on some turnovers and lazy defense. I won't say I Definitely heard it

I still think it’s a big IF that we get a new coach.  We all know it needs done but the fact that Woodson doesn’t report to Dolson, which mind blowing in my opinion, creates the biggest obstacle and complication in this entire situation

Quinn will try like hell to keep him. The donors need to stop funding this nonsense. If he stays starve him of nil money.

I get it and I agree but I am in the area where he isn’t gone until he’s actually been shown the door.  He thinks he’s got this entitlement because he’s played here over 40 years ago!  He thinks he’s owed this!  He’s going out kicking and screaming and it will make it a very bad look for the University, firing a legend player and one of their own.  So you see how this isn’t a guarantee.  It ain’t over with until Matha the Mop Lady sings!
