I would say Chris is 100% accurate on Izzo not caring enough to want Fife back.  

We all realllllyyyyy dislike Woodson but Fife did some behind the scenes stuff at IU prior to even IU playing their first game with him as an assistant coach that honestly could have led to his dismissal.  Probably would have if he hadn't been an IU grad.

Not unless they proved they were a hell of a coach first.  We don't need guys learning on the job just because they played at IU.

I don't have an opinion on Fife one way or the other, but it's not speculation from Chris because he 'doesn't like the guy'.  Michigan State boards will tell you the same thing.

He did say when asked about him resigning during the season, that Woodson wants to fight to the end and right the ship. Said he had heard some second hand stuff about a midseaon retirement announcement with him finishing the season, but that Woodson still thinks they can salvage the season over the next 10 games, make the tourney and make some noise. 

I would give him the benefit of the doubt IF he only once made an adjustment or adaptation in the past 3.5 years.  Doing the same thing and entering the gauntlet we are about to enter is the definition of insanity.  The guy is just a mumbling, stumbling, idiot at this point.

Seems its been quiet busy since  I was last in here . 

So I gather that he (MW) still thinks there is a ton more games and he can still win everything ?

Haven't watched them since B4A   have watched other basketball games which are more  exciting  shall we say .

Having been prior to these last 2 years an avid basketball  watcher and fan this needs to be fixed .

First time hoping for huge losses only way I see that the "King" can be booted ,not sure why the egg shells  to do what needs done .

Correct me if wrong but only 1 former player is doing well as a coach I think Memphis  is doing well otherwise don't know any current used to be player coaching well right now .

Think I have caught up for now and am trying to shred this Purdue thing

So we are still all in on Fire  Woodson    ? I am also on the tank train which is a first ,I don't recall  wanting a coach gone so much before at least not in basketball ,football  yes pro and college ,but so happy with the college football team ,
