Have no idea how some of you guys form your opinions on our staff members lol. Bit odd to me that anyone thinks they can discern anything on a meaningful level about what they're doing or not doing for the team. Or opine on their quality as coaches. Just funny to me

Hey.  We're btb.  This is what we do.  Google us!

Happy we won. It was expected…but this team has a long way to go if it wants get to the tournament. Free throw shooting and rebounding obviously need to improve and guard play is non-existent as our PG’s combined for 2 points.

Gallo is our point guard.  Think he had 0 turnovers and would like to see what his +/- was tonight.  7 assists and sat for awhile in foul trouble and got dinged up a little late.  In reality all three handled the ball but Gallo should be the primary ball handler.  We are so much better with him in that role and he is better with the ball in his hands.  It just sucks he doesn’t have a running mate.  Or maybe he does.  #Free Leal.

Here’s the answer given

He’s not going to say X is trash.  But he did not play well.  Cupps has to figure something out on offense.  He passes on good looks and the crowd moans so then he puts up a worse look.  It’s a learning process.  I thought his defense was really good tonight.  He made a handful of plays especially early in the game.

+18 for Gallo.

X was -13.

X was -13 and his body language said as much.  He needs to go away!  I thought everyone played well until X came into the game

His defense is generally pretty good for a freshman, and Woody values that.

Maybe his offensive rhythm will come this year yet and maybe next. I agree with your assessment on shot selection with the caveat that I thought he’s been a little more aggressive and that’s good. He’s been a solid B/B+ for a freshman that realistically should be getting spot rotation minutes here and there.

At his best X is still our best perimeter defender and dynamic playmaker. He’s as big of a head case that we’ve had here in some time. I have no idea how the rest of the season plays out for him.

I agree!!!  Gallo needs to be our point guard and I would like to see Woodson work either Gunn or Leal into the shooting guard and bring Cupps off the bench.  X will just play mop up minutes and cheerleader!

Gunn or Leal as the starting 2 illustrates how limited our options are.

I say bench him and play mop up minutes. His body language tonight told me tonight that he wasn’t wrong!
