Hot take: I think Ware has trouble with the physicality of conference play and our better opponents. He’ll have his moments but will struggle a bit too.

Hope I’m wrong.

Second that. He's getting pushed wherever the Army kid wants to put him.

They said Woodson has been on Ware the most to get him fired up and push back more, I hope it works because I like his game and he has the length.

It’s an interesting dynamic.

Ware wants to be a rangy 5 but more of a stretch 4. He’s too slow and is getting beat on the perimeter and gets pushed around inside. He’s got to develop quickness and relentlessness.

Malik wants to be a 4 for the NBA. He may be developing those skills but he’s NOT ready to guard most 4’s yet much less anything in the perimeter.

Combine this with our nonexistent wings…

Man. Malik has got to make that forearm less obvious. I still don't like the fact the referee made that call from where he was on the court though. There was another ref right in front of the play.

That's the whole thing -- Reneau doesn't make that forearm so obvious and that's a blocking foul.  But Malik never puts himself in triple threat position so things like that are going to happen.
