GloryDays Posted November 10, 2023 Posted November 10, 2023 Is Currie Welks hurt or just that far behind? Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 10, 2023 Author Posted November 10, 2023 After 3, Hoosiers lead 77-32. Mack at 19p and her move into 2nd place on the all-time scoring list will likely not happen until Sunday at Stanford. Lalani Ellis led EIU with 21p and 8r in its season opener. Tonight she has 4p and 3r and has only taken 3 shots. Quote
Stuhoo Posted November 10, 2023 Posted November 10, 2023 And Bargesser has incredible vision. If she can become a respectable jump shooter (she’s not close yet) she will 100% be first team All-B1G Quote
Stuhoo Posted November 10, 2023 Posted November 10, 2023 You know it’s a blowout when Wisne plays in the 3rd quarter. Though to her credit Wisne seems to be in much much better shape than last year. Quote

In exhibitions they defeated Dominican 126-53 and beat Hawaii 87-40. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:OO ET and televised on ESPN. LockdownD, WayneFleekHoosier and Banksyrules 3 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 10, 2023 Author Posted November 10, 2023 FT shooting has been absolutely horrendous (2-11) and that's the kind of stat that could cost us in a game against a team like Stanford. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 10, 2023 Author Posted November 10, 2023 96-43 final score. CTM's 400th career victory. Good bench contributions. Bargesser 15p; 2r; 3a in 23 min. Beaumont 9p; 2a in 19 min. Lamendola 5r and 1a in 16 min. She did pick up 3 fouls and looks like she's going to be foul prone as a freshman. Sandvik 5p; 3r; 4a in 22 min. Mildly surprised Lilly only saw 10 min. of action. Quote
Stuhoo Posted November 10, 2023 Posted November 10, 2023 The non-starters: Currie-Jelks looks pretty unplayable. Wisne not only looked quicker than prior years, she actually looked quicker than Currie-Jelks. Beaumont looks great. She’s gonna be a featured player at IU, and is playable right away. LaMendola plays with swag and vision, but right now she’s a mess. Sandvik has improved a lot. A good athlete and way more confident. She’ll get minutes too. Bargesser is clearly our sixth player—she’s so quick with the ball, passes so well, and defends. Meister was kinda meh to me. She looked like the same player she was as a freshman. Quote

Great fundamentals for the entire team. Defensive positioning, hands, switching. Just good fundamental BB. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile app J34 and GloryDays 2 Quote
