Watched him against Kokomo at the New Castle regional, Wayne in the Semi State, and Ben Davis at state. Incredible to see a frosh handle the pressure at that level and make virtually zero mistakes. Tenacious on D. Will be fun to see how good he becomes. Demo and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote

Class of '66 Old Fart Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 No idea of what kind of potential this kid truly has, but he's put up some impressive scoring performances this season. Attends Prestonburg HS, Prestonburg, KY. If you really want to dive into his season you can do so on a game-by-game basis at: https://scoreboard.12dt.com/scoreboard/riherds/kybbk24/?id=92941 Quote

Get a visit so that it looks like they're doing something then radio silence. I'm not even going to bother remembering this kid's name. Quote

Saw it mentioned elsewhere that it was likely Jordy who got these 2 on campus but as for managing the recruiting side, no idea. Since they're all likely out of a job, would seem to make some sense that they'd all be "auditioning" although we are still in the middle of our season and game prep should be the priority especially when we're no shoo-in to make the tournament. 8bucks and Dave from Dayton 2 Quote

Dropped a 40 bomb on them and made it look easy. Kid can get wherever he wants off his bounce. In the 2nd half he decided he was just gonna take it to the rim and that was it. He got buckets or fouled every trip. It was quite a show. Class of '66 Old Fart 1 Quote
go iu bb Posted May 1 Posted May 1 He hasn't been offered, but IU is watching and keeping in touch with Cooper Zachary from Fishers. I'm guessing this is probably a long game type situation where he'll go to a mid- or low-major school first then they'll be in a good position if he does well and decides to transfer. He is supposed to be pretty good but he's small, listed at 5'10", 150 lb. Maybe I'm wrong and a high-major like IU or PU will take a chance on him hoping he's the next Braden Smith. https://247sports.com/player/cooper-zachary-46156011/ Home Jersey and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote
