Sidenote:  not wanting this, however as QBs go in T.A. era it’s been a dangerous position.  He commits to one QB and if a ding or something a little more happens (maybe even in quarter one) then plan is out the door because the other qb will play…if he wants to.

Any real update on Dexter Williams? Is he healthy enough to make a run at the starting spot? 

Thought I saw a quote from Allen where he said Dexter could have played last game if needed.

Just heard on 1380(Fort Wayne) that Dexter is close to being ready.

I don't think there is a magic bullet to fix what's wrong with IU football. This is a total system failure. We get low quality players and coach them down. We are close to the point where guys are just waiting for portal season.

“Close to the point where guys are just waiting for portal season”….wrong…..they were not close to waiting….but were already implementing transfer portal season as 2 or 3 years ago as evidenced by lineman and QB transfers from IU to other programs.   However, it is true the players this season are continuing into what is fast becoming a new IU football tradition of losing some of IU’s best players to transfer and trying to replace them with lateral or lesser talented players…..need to change this immediately before it becomes an entrenched tradition.

Who is on your list that meets those criteria and would actually come here. If or when we make a change it will either be a HC from a lower level or a coordinator from a power 5 school. Everybody would have been happy if we hired Doborer a few years ago and the only HC position he had was at a D2 school

The first thing the school needs to do is send out a message that IU is serious about rebuilding it's football program and they will put big money behind it.

Sorta feel bad for Penn State and O$U. They’re clearly playing the game of the day — but have to go up against IU-Rutger.

I am hopefully optimistic to see Dexter return.....This would entice me, especially if we have a shot at a win after Penn St.
