I did -- but also as a scorer on the wing (which Smith most definitely never was). 

Fwiw, in today's game, in which he led all scorers, he went 8-11, 8-8 FT's, with 5 boards, a block and a steal. He could have been developed at IU.

Stoic would work but I don't really think I'd describe Miller as that since he did show anger/annoyance sometimes. Mostly just looked lost or confused. The word I'd use is "boring."

I was thinking surly -- includes his general lack of friendliness, but doesn't really capture how non-emotional/stoic he was
